Chapter I - Faith Of The Void
After months of research, Weird Explorers have found a perfect place to build their home village. To power the village, they need a key element called Weirdonite, an energy resource extremely rare to find. The last traces of Weirdonite date back to tales from decades ago that circulated among tribes, these tales narrated of a powerful wizard who sealed the Weirdonite reserve behind the Portal of Void, to prevent the evil forces from obtaining it.
However uncertain, entering the other dimension seemed the only choice left. Weird Enchanters gathered in a circle and together chanted the formula to summon the Portal of Void. As soon as the Portal was opened, they noticed very strange things were happening, a Weird Ape passing through the portal changed shape and became a Voxel Weird Ape.
The Weird Enchanters did their best to keep the portal open, but to pass through it needs to consume valuable materials. Fortunately, $WAC is composed of a precious alloy, enough to activate the portal, so whenever a Weird Ape wants to pass through the portal it must pay a tribute of $WAC. An alternative has been found by the Weird Scientists who have managed to synthesize a drink that when consumed gives the Weird Ape the power to activate the portal. This drink, called BananaCola, is made from the best bananas in the jungle, but insurmountable production limits allow each Strange Ape to have only one banana available per day.
Once through the portal, the Voxel Ape must run and grab as much Weirdonite as possible. It would be too dangerous to start an expedition without any equipment, which is why the Wise Ape taught to Ladies and Babies how to create catalysts for missions. These essences have the power to glow a fluorescent color if found near the Weirdonite, this helps adventurers locate and take the loot.
Brave Apes that you are, you have joined forces to go on a mission to retrieve as much Weirdonite as possible to build our home village. This task will not be easy, as finding the Weirdonite is an epic adventure in itself. However, if you work together using everyone's skills and helping each other out when you can, you will surely succeed.
Leave as Ape, come back as Hero, you will be rewarded by the community for your sacrifices.
